Live - Forever May Not Be Long Enough

80年代初四个来自美国宾西法尼亚的约克镇的高中生Chad Taylor(吉他)、Patrick Dahlheimer(贝司)和Chad Gracey(鼓手)组成了一支名叫First Aid的乐队。主唱Ed Kowalczyk加入后不久就开始频繁的演出，并推出了一张名为《The Death of a Dictionary》的专辑。推出专辑不久，他们开始频繁地参加各种俱乐部演出，并得到了录制小样的机会。同时他们引起了一些独立公司的注意，并最终与Radioactive唱片公司签约。
1994年发行的《Throwing Copper》是他们的第二张专辑。它进入排行榜前列，并停留了整整1年，全美卖出554万张。他们还参加了当年的乌德斯托克音乐节，音乐和商业上的双丰收使得他们从此一举成名，成为美国现场收益最高的乐队之一。Kowalczyk激情四溢的演唱是Live音乐最重要的标志，乐队成员的表现也是超一流的，而他们合作在一起的整体效果更是令人激动。他们在歌曲上的精心铺排更易于歌词的表达和渲染，而在歌曲中瞬间“发作”的爆发力，听起来更是令人热血沸腾。单曲“Lighting Crashes”曾上升到全美排行的No.2，这首歌渐进式的爆发给我留下不可磨灭的印象。

1999年票房黑马《盗墓迷城》续集《木乃伊归来》的主题歌“Forever May Not Be Long Enough”，正是来自Live乐队的专辑《V》。
