美國著名音樂家Frankie Laine 2007年2月6日辭世，享年93歲。Frankie Laine 20世紀50年代就已經爲大家熟知。他比較著名的歌曲包括《I Believe》和《Jezebel》等。去年，他還參加暸生平最後一場演出，演唱暸自己音樂生涯最有影響力的作品《That's My Desire》。他一生中得到過21次金唱片獎，專輯銷量達到2億5千萬張。

Rose Rose I Love You就是改編自陳歌辛的“玫瑰玫瑰我愛妳” 的英文版﹐為中國歌壇首支被翻成英文並揚威海外的作品。
