Finished the map in fully chinese version, just from looking at scripts:
Do you know someone who speaks a little english and finished the map? I need some infos about reaching the secret/closed areas in underground, the last town etc. Could not find a way.

Yes, please do so,  so far I played it 3 times and had very different results. In one I found town portal in a shrine, in the second I never could get it.

So far I can't solve the lighthouse quest, also I can't access in the underground closed areas.  I searched all the scripts but they are hard to track. Can you give me a short description of the quests, so I can correct the translation? Google gave me very bad results, thus I have to guess what is going, from looking at scripts.  Also I have a problem with the introduction ( options scripts)

Thanks both, things are much clearer now. I played several times, once I killed the boss, once I killed Adrienne to finish. There are a few quests that I could not finish, I sent save to Song. Mostly bugs due to variables overlap. Seems that with option enabled: players can visit fire poles more than once, they are disabled once you are level 40+, thus can't get the fire orb. I still can not go to the dungeon underground (no idea how) and could not find the final boss (need level 100?!!).

I am lost. As you said, to have all conditions reunited I played again on 200% difficulty. It took some time to clean the map (every stack of monsters is 4000+ help) and now I visited the shrine, I got implosion, now I visited the second shrine and I get "you missed the opportunity, no need to learn magic" thing. That means I will not get town portal in this game? Without town portal this map is not enjoyable, after so long effort.  There is a quest gate giving town portal but it asks 2 artefacts I can not find anywhere, combo of life and armor of the damned.

I don't know how many shrines you have visited. In fact, you have six chances to learn four magics. The positions are （90,50,0）（31,64,0）（126,127,0）（48,0,0）（139,12,0）（91,11,1）. The magics are Implosion, clone, town portal, Berserk. If you missed one shrine, you can go to next shrine. But the magic can still be learned one by one.
To vist the first shrine, you must have already learned one of Animate Dead, Resurrection, Sacrifice. But to visit the second shrine, you must have learned all three magic.
To challenge the shrines, you'd better equip the Crimson Shield of Reiribution.

If you want to get combo of life and armor of the damned, you must go to the underground to play the  "treasure hunt " game, after collecting four magic books, you can get random combo artifacts in return.

Yes, I opened script and I understood the conditions to have all three spells. In previous game I had them accidentally and I got town portal. In current game I visited the second shrine without knowing the conditions (is there any hint in text?). By the way, where do you get for sure animate dead? I checked all my guilds (all towns) and in last game it did not show.

Is Woodmelon stil active or he left [wiki]WoG[/wiki]? Does he speak a bit english?


@Later: haha I decided to rush Xarfax on 200% using Haart, and I attacked him day 5. Nice henchman he had DAY 4!

I have some questions:

What happens when you let the little genie free in the lighthouse quest? Should I visit again, any effect?
What does the orb of vulnerability when upgraded at dark tower for 250 mithril?
Barbarian axe of ferocity is better than suite of invincibility, because it grants for sure 3 attacks. The goal is to hit more and never get hurt.
I am always short on resources, is there any hidden path to get rich?

I think chinese WoG version has other dialog boxes layouts. With my english version, all TDS dialogs are too big for the usual box. I have to change all dialogs, and use IF:Q with pictures or IF:M, otherwise it gives this:
