Loreena McKennitt（羅琳娜·麥肯尼特）出生于加拿大緬省草原地區的一個小城鎮（Modern），是加拿大著名的愛爾蘭豎琴演奏家、鍵盤手，以及歌手。
《The Mummer's Dance》最先吸引人是風笛，隱約的，延綿在背景裏，好象是從記憶裏緩緩而來的風。而鼓聲接踵而至，各種各樣的鼓被統一成一個印象，不徐不緩，不緊不慢，卻永不停息，推著人跟隨它前進舞蹈。整首曲子由這兩種樂器形成主要旋律，而偶爾出現的小提琴與吉它，好象是突然跳出人群中的獨舞，又象是靈機一動錯出的一個花步。而Loreena的吟唱，把它們織成一個網，將聆聽者著籠罩。\r
