丹佛格柏(DAN FOGELBERG)，是很多民歌愛好者喜愛的藝人，他的風格橫跨民謠、搖滾和鄉村，不論是歌曲的內容或是音樂的表現，都極為精緻、而且充滿了詩意。1951年八月十三日出生於伊利諾州的他，自幼跟隨熱愛鄉村音樂的祖父學習滑音吉他，後來又潛修鋼琴等多種樂器、以及作曲的技巧。
