Darryl Worley最初只是在CLUB和酒吧里演唱，1999年，才签约“DreamWorksNashville”，发行首支单曲"when you need my love"，2000年中发行首张专辑《Hard Rain DonT Last》，即时风靡美国各大电台。在2002年《I Miss My Friend》取得骄人的成绩后，Darryl Worle似乎就搭乘上了幸运之舟，在惊涛骇浪中当起了开路先锋。
